Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BarbOhut — book your chair, skip the wait. Please read them before creating an account or completing a booking.

1. About BarbOhut

BarbOhut is an online platform that helps you discover nearby salons, spas, and barbershops, book appointments, and manage your grooming schedule. By using BarbOhut, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Accounts

You need an account to book and pay for services. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate profile information so shops and barbers can serve you properly.

3. Bookings & Payments

Home bookings: pick a day (up to 7 days ahead) and an open hour; booked hours are shown as unavailable. Pay a booking fee via Razorpay (₹6 if service under ₹100, else ₹9). Optional WhatsApp reminder costs ₹1 and you choose how many hours before the appointment. After the barber accepts, WhatsApp confirmation is sent. Reminder is sent at your chosen lead time. Service amount is cash only at the salon. Booking fee (+ reminder if unused path) is refunded if rejected, if the slot passes without accept, or if a future-day booking is not accepted within 9 hours. Same-day walk-ins at the shop have no booking fee.

4. Queues & Wait Times

Estimated wait times and free-barber counts are guidance only and may change based on walk-ins, staff availability, and salon operations. BarbOhut is not liable for delays at partner shops.

5. Partner Salons

Partner businesses set their own services, prices, hours, and staff. BarbOhut facilitates discovery and booking but does not employ salon staff or guarantee the quality of in-salon services.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the platform: no fake bookings, harassment, attempts to circumvent payments, scraping, or any activity that harms shops, other customers, or BarbOhut systems.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as BarbOhut grows. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
